 Where do you begin?  What's the first step I need to initiate in order to earn income online?  Will I be wasting my time?

When you become a member of Hubpages you will then go to your "My Account Section".  Then you will tick "Affiliate Settings".  In the "Affiliate Settings" you will copy and paste your "Publisher ID" into the "Affiliate Code" field.  Then you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your affiliation.

Another free way to earn income with Google Adsense is to create free "Blogs" at Blogger.com.

Treat your Blogs as if you were writting articles at Hubpages.com.  What's so wonderful about Blogger.com is it's user-friendlyness.  It's very easy to place Google Adsense Ads onto your Blogs.  It's very easy to create many different Blogs about different topics.

Just like Hubpages the more you create and write Blogs the more Blogs you will have floating out on the web.  I feel this gives you more of a chance to earn revenue with Google Adsense.
